Terry Leon Haney, 64, of Morven, died on Monday, June 3, 2019 at his residence following a lengthy illness. He was born in Mobile, Alabama on May 15, 1955 to the late Roy and Easter Jane Freeman Haney. He was a retired maintenance mechanic for Shaw Industries after 30+ years of service. Terry was an avid FSU fan and loved grilling out and watching his beloved Noles play. He was a loving grandfather and loved spending time with his grandkids. He was of the Church of God faith.
He is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Lance and Kaitlyn Haney of Morven, and David Haney of Paducah, Kentucky; grandchildren, Dylan Haney, Briana Haney, Dalton Haney, and Julian Haney; a sister and brother-in-law, Deborah and Dean Sharpe of Valdosta; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Don Haney, and Philip and Olive Haney all of Texas; a sister-in-law, Vera Haney of Dothan, Alabama; two special nieces, Sarah Henderson (John), and Alicia Haney; two special nephews, Alex Sharpe and Jason Sharpe; numerous other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jean Haney and a brother, Larry Haney.
