Teresea Copeland Story, 69, of Lake Park, died on Thursday, September 26, 2019, at South Georgia Medical Center. Born in Valdosta, on December 1, 1949, Teresea was the daughter of the late John Tilford Copeland, Sr. and Marion Dees Copeland. She was the retired owner of JL Sandblasting. She was a faithful member of Central Avenue Church of Christ. She loved the Valdosta Wildcats, and enjoyed baking and cooking. Teresea was a very giving person and a hard worker. Her grandsons were the loves of her life.
Widow of the late Herman Auther Story, she is survived by her son and daughter in law, John Lee and Stephanie Story of Ellabell, Georgia, grandsons, Coleson and Connor Story also of Ellabell; her sister, Cynthia Copeland of Lake Park, Georgia; brother, Tilford and Diane Copeland of Byron, Georgia; nieces, Christy and Jon Waters, Tracy and Steve Waters of Warner Robins, Georgia; great nephews, Chase, Chandler and Ty Waters, great niece, Zadie Waters; beloved friend, Mary Ruth Eanes of Savannah, Georgia, and other special friends and relatives. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Clara Eunice Copeland.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 29, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at Central Avenue Church of Christ. Mr. John Klimko and Mr. Michael Black will officiate. Mrs. Story will be cremated according to her wishes. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Central Avenue Church of Christ. Condolences may be conveyed online at www.mclanecares.com.
