Teresa Rodgers Minchew

Teresa Rodgers Minchew, 71, of Valdosta died peacefully Saturday, January 2, 2021, surrounded by her family. She was born in Valdosta, GA, on February 6, 1949 to the late Jimmy Nicholas Rodgers and Beatrice McCranie Rodgers. Mrs. Minchew was a member of the Park Avenue United Methodist Church. She was the owner of Teresa Minchew Properties. She enjoyed time with her grandchildren, scrapbooking, and visiting the mountains. Teresa had beautiful handwriting and loved helping others address invitations for special events. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

Survivors include her husband, Gary Franklin Minchew, of Valdosta, daughter and son-in-law, Stan and Tiffany (Minchew) Cox of Johns Creek, GA, her daughter and son-in-law, Sean and Courtney (Minchew) Reynolds, of Winter Springs, FL; grandchildren Alden Cox of Johns Creek, GA, Ryan Reynolds, Carson Reynolds, Reagan Reynolds, Jenna Reynolds, Catherine Reynolds and Braden Reynolds, all of Winter Springs, FL, brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Dawn Rodgers of Valdosta.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the caregivers from Hospice of South Georgia and Comfort Keepers. A remembrance for Mrs. Minchew will be held on Tuesday January 5, 2021 at 2 p.m. at a graveside service at Sunset Hill Cemetery with Reverend Jimmy Towson officiating.
