Teresa G. Richardson Rice

TERESA G. RICHARDSON RICE, 40, of Valdosta died Friday, August 12, 2005 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born on July 11, 1965 in Johnson City, Tennessee and had lived in Valdosta for fifteen years. She was a member of the Lake Park Church of God.

Survivors include her loving husband, Robert (Bob) Rice of Valdosta, her son, Thomas Wayne Grantham of Florida, her daughter, Rebecca Lynn Lewis of Lake Park, two stepsons, Jonthan Rice and Dustin Rice both of Fairbanks, Alaska, her granddaughter, Taylor Elizabeth Lewis of Lake Park, her sister, Betty Jo Richardson of Valdosta, her brother, David E. Rountree and his family of West Palm Beach, Fla., stepfather and stepmother, Hugh and Harriett Rountree of Perry, Fla., half sister and brother in law, Melissa and Robert Tipton and daughter of Erwin, TN., two half brothers, Michael and Kathy Richardson and their two children of Erwin, TN., Matthew Richardson of Erwin, TN., her aunts and uncles, Howard and Becky Richardson of Jonesboro, TN., Grover Richardson of Milligan, TN., Joann and Mike Brown, Shirley and Bill Killem, Judy and Bob Miller all of Johnson City, TN., Stella and Gary Brantley. She was preceded in death by her mother, Patsy Rountree, her brother, Billy Ray Richardson of Perry, Fla., her grandmother, Maggie Dykes of Valdosta, her father, Ollie Richardson and grandparents, Kyle and Florence Richardson all of Johnson City, TN.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Sunday, August 14, 2005 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Sandlin officiating.
