Teresa Ann Bollin Waite

Teresa Ann (Bollin) Waite, 59, of Valdosta, died at her home on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 of a sudden illness. Born in Fukuoko, Japan, on July 14, 1956, she was the daughter of Florence Miller Bollin and the late Daniel Douglas Bollin, I. An accomplished cook and a homemaker, Teresa was a loving and giving wife, mother and friend. She loved all animals and especially adored her Doxie's. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, where she was an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist. Teresa was actively involved with the church decorating committee and other ministries and functions within the St. John's church family. She had a special interest in learning about the medical field.
Survivors are her husband of 35 years, John Waite; daughter, Danielle Waite, mother, Florence Bollin, brother and sister-in-law, Doug and Wanda Bollin, sister-in-law, Amber Bollin all of Valdosta and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, and a brother, Daniel Douglas Bollin, II.
A funeral mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church on Friday, April 15, 2016. Fr. Brian LaBurt will officiate. Burial will follow at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. On Thursday evening a wake service will begin at 6:00 p.m. with a Rosary to follow at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church.
