Taylor Crockett Williams

Taylor Crockett Williams, 30, of Valdosta, passed away Friday, November 20, 2015 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born on December 11, 1984 in Valdosta to Ron and Lynn Williams. Taylor was saved and was a member of Greenwood Baptist Church and attended Crosspointe Church. Taylor was a 2003 Lowndes High School graduate and graduated from Southeastern School of Neuromuscular Massage Therapy in 2005. Taylor had a big gracious heart for helping people… from questions about cell phones and technology, to relieving someone's pain with a massage. He was never too busy to help someone who needed him. His smile and sense of humor will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his parents, Ronald Gene and Paula Lynn Moran Williams of Valdosta, brother, Evan Williams of Valdosta, three sisters, Blake Lankford (Stephen) of Peachtree City, Blair Williams of Valdosta, and Drew Armstrong (Steven) of Columbus; nieces and nephews, Tripp and Claire Lankford, Ava, Camille and Everly Armstrong; Aunts and Uncles, Robin and Norman Bennett of Hahira, Keith and Betsy Moran of Dublin, James and Michelle Moran of Asheville, NC, Pam Adams, Judy and Burton McDaniel of Alpharetta, Donnie and Mary Williams, Kenny Williams, Paula and Tommy Willis, all of Quitman and a great extended family of precious cousins. Taylor is preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul and Frances Moran, Robert J. and Jean Williams and his adopted grandmother-in-love, Frances Hammond.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 28, 2015 at eleven thirty a. m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Dr. Clyde Stokes, Rev. Joe Ford and Rev. Doug Sparks will officiate. Burial will follow at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from five until eight p. m. Friday at the funeral home.
