Taylor Anthony Davis

Taylor Anthony Davis, 27, of Valdosta died Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at his home. He was born on January 25, 1984 in Port St. Lucie, Florida and was a former resident of Thomasville and Cairo and had lived in Valdosta for the past ten years. Taylor was a member of the Central Avenue Church of Christ and was a dedicated employee with Cox Enterprises. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, Devan, his dog, Dottie and his friends. He loved playing golf, fishing and cooking. Taylor was a graduate of Thomas County Central High School and was anticipating graduating from Valdosta State University in August.

Survivors include his wife, Devan Boruff Davis of Valdosta, his father, Thomas Alan Davis, Sr. of Valdosta, his sister, Ashley Noel Davis of Jacksonville, Fla, his brother and sister in law, Thomas Alan, Jr. and Meghen Davis of Crawfordville, Fla., his grandparents, Madavern Davis of Valdosta, Bill and Barbara Miller of Cairo, GA., aunts and uncles, Karen and Larry Green of Cairo who played an important part in raising Taylor, Becky and Charles Prince of Eufaula, Ala., Teresa and Jeff Stevenson of Kennesaw, GA., Bill Miller, Jr. of Birmingham, Ala., parents in law, Dean and Dana Boruff, sister in law, Darby Boruff, brother in law, Dane Boruff, grandparents in law, Bobby and Joyce Swindle all of Hahira, cousins, Melissa Green Morton, Kimberly Green Crapps, Ginny Green Hopper, Laren Green Carlton, Chuck Prince, Christy Prince Roberts, Brittany Stevenson, Heather Stevenson, Misty Miller and Melanie Miller. He was preceded in death by his mother, Cynthia Miller Davis.

Funeral services will be held at 10am, Friday, July 1, 2011 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Mr. John Klimko and Rev. Ken Morgan officiating.
