Tammie Paulk Starling, 37, of Lake Park, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Sunday, March 17, 2013.
She was born July 11, 1975 in Hahira, and graduated from Lowndes High School with the Class of 1993. Tammie was a wonderful person, she was a born again Christian and loved the Lord. She loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. She had a generous heart, never met a stranger, and was always willing to care for and feed others.
She is survived by her husband of nine years, Shane Starling of Lake Park; her beloved pets, Coco, Millie and Maggie; her father and step-mother, Sonny and Nita Paulk of Valdosta; her mother and step-father, Janice and Bill Lewis of Barney; two sisters, Sunny and husband Paul Everett, and their children Bryce and Bailey Everett, of Hahira, and Pam and husband Ray Nesmith, and their children Chad and Crystal Fletcher, and Crystal's son Charlie, of Hahira; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charles and Margaret Starling of Lake Park; brother-in-law, Shawn and wife Amy Starling, and their children Morgan Barfield and Dawson Starling, of Hahira; grandmother-in-law, Ethel Snow of Lake Park; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Memorial Service for Tammie will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013, at the Chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Mr. Lee Starling officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. prior to the service.
