Tab Wesley Johnson

Tab Wesley Johnson, 40, of Valdosta, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 26, 2013, at South Georgia Medical Center. Born in Holland on August 22, 1972, Tab had lived in Valdosta for the past 34 years. He was of the Baptist faith and a full time student.
Survivors are his mother, Linda Edwards Johnson of Valdosta; sister, Teresa Johnson of Valdosta; grandmother, Jean Edwards of Berlin; niece, Samantha Johnson of Arnold, Missouri; nephew, Dustin Johnson of Valdosta; a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends. He was preceded in death by a brother, Todd Johnson and his grandfather, Ed Edwards.
A funeral service for Tab will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, June 1, 2013, in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Reverend Jim Schappaugh will officiate. A committal will be held at Antioch Cemetery in Cook County at a later date. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday morning.
