Susan Cowart Fielding

Susan Cowart Fielding, 59, of Valdosta died Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born on March 16, 1951 in Valdosta to the late Frank and Mildred Cooper Cowart. Mrs. Fielding was a Baptist and had been a licensed practical nurse. She loved being with and spending time with her grandchildren and sisters.

Survivors include her husband, Jim T. Fielding of Valdosta, her daughter, Dawn Cherie' Boston of Roswell, NM., her grandsons, Trotter Robert Boston and Fielding Thomas Boston, three sisters and two brothers in law, Nell and Clyde Curry of Jacksonville, Fla., Anne and Cecil Via of Byron, GA. and Gloria Gester of Jacksonville, Fla., her aunt, Louise Putnal of Adel and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Cowart and Wilson Cowart and one sister, Lunita Crosby.

Graveside services will be held at 2pm, Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Cat Creek Cemetery with Dr. Clyde Stokes officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association, P.
