Steven Lee Chambers, 31, of Lake Park passed away Friday, September 23, 2016 from injuries he sustained in an automobile accident in Colquitt County. He was born on July 28, 1985 in Valdosta. Steven was a technician for J & J Equipment in Perry, FL. He loved his nephew, Gray, enjoyed fishing and loved animals.
Steven is survived by his parents, Joe and Robbie Chambers of Lake Park, brother and sister in law, John Joseph and Anne Chambers of Valdosta, nephew, Gray Chambers, grandmother, Beatrice Chastain of Moultrie, Uncles, Bill Chastain (Arnie), David Chastain (Traci), John Chastain (Jere), Joe Chastain, James Chastain, Roy Chambers (Barbara), aunts, Brenda Griner (Charles), Janna Crump (Phillip), Karen Kinsaul (Ronnie). He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Lee Chastain, grandparents, Wilburn and Bennie Mae Chambers, uncles, Billy Chambers, Lavon Chambers, Jack Chambers and Lewis Chambers.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at two p. m. at the McLane Lakewood Funeral Home in Lake Park. Reverend Phillip Crump and Reverend Ronnie Kinsaul will officiate. Burial will follow at Lake Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from six until eight p. m. Monday at the funeral home.
