Steven Jerome Powers

Steven Jerome Powers, 60, of Ray City, stepped into Eternity on Thursday, December 21, 2023. He was born on October 12, 1963, in Macon, Georgia.

He is survived by his parents, Bobby and Kathleen Powers of Valdosta, a sister Tania (Warren) Chesser of Green Cove Springs, FL; four nephews Warren Chesser of High Springs, FL, Jason (Jennifer) Chesser of High Springs, FL, Joshua (Mandi) Chesser of High Springs, FL, Andrew Chesser of High Springs, FL; five great-nephews, Benjamin, Jonathan, Jaxton, Brodey, and Jayce; three great-nieces, Ashley, Chey, and Paisley; he is preceded in death by his grandparents Vester and Rena Powers of Adel and Clem and Verdia Mikell of Ray City; and his great-nephew Jeremiah Levi Chesser.

Services for Steven Powers will be held on December 26, 2023, at 3 p.m. at the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Gibbs and Rev. Warren Chesser officiating. The burial will follow at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1-3pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
