STEVE ANDREW McCANN, 58, of Lake Park died Thursday, May 11, 2006 at his home. He was born on February 15, 1948 in Dade County, California and had lived in Lowndes County for many years. He was a Baptist.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Helen McCann of Lake Park, his mother, Viola Mae McCann of Ray City, sister and brother in law, Stella and Eddie Carlo of Valdosta, brother and sister in law, Jimmy Rand McCann of Waycross and Emma Lou McCann of Ray City, brother in law, Gene Porter of Lake Park, his son, James Andrew McCann of Albany, a son in law, Randy Carlton of North Carolina, an aunt, Willa Mae Sizemore of Valdosta, uncles, Frank McCann of Albany and Ronnie Garee of Phoenix City, Ala., 7-grandchildren and 3-great grandchildren and two great grandchildren soon to be born, extra special cousin, Becky Wiggins, two very good friends, Ralph and Cathy Lewren of Lake Park, several nieces and nephews, extra special ex-co-worker, David Adams, sister in law, Carolyn Yeomans of Lake Park, nephew, Daniel Yeomans of Lake Park, mother in law, Betty Elaine Parker of Lakeland, several brothers in law and sisters in law, a special friend, James Levi Woodard. He was preceded in death by his father, Warren McCann, a daughter, Donna Carlton, a sister, Pat Porter and a nephew Jonathan Yeomans.
