Stephanie Ann Maine

Stephanie Ann Maine, 35, of Valdosta died on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at Langdale Hospice House. She was born in Hahira, Georgia on November 11, 1978 to Tony Maine and the late Ruth Carol Wilkes Steed. She has been a resident of this area all her life. Stephanie loved life and all the joys that life can bring from attending family reunions to visiting theme parks and attending concerts. She embraced life and looked for the beauty in everything. Stephanie lived for her boys and was a loving daughter, mother, sister, and friend.

Survivors include her sons, Chris Maine and Aaron Clanton; her father, Tony Maine; a sister, Aimy Carpenter; a step-grandmother, Lillie Maine all of Valdosta; an aunt and uncle, Sheryl and Mike Rogers of Fargo; two uncles, Ronnie Wilkes of Blackshear, Georgia and Joey Wilkes of Ray City; two aunts and uncles, Audrey and Don Manac and Bonnie and Jake Terry all of Valdosta; a host of cousins and friends; her special friends, Raymond Brantley and Kim Zuchnik both of Valdosta and Jason Clements of Ray City. Stephanie was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Carol Steed, and her grandparents, Wallace and Margaret Wilkes, Margaret and Clifford Whited, and Freddy Maine; an aunt, Beth Wilkes and a cousin, Amy Roberts.

A graveside service for Stephanie Ann Maine is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Monday, October 13, 2014 at the Cherry Lake Methodist Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Cherry Lake Methodist Cemetery.
