Stella Irene Brown

Stella Irene Brown of Valdosta died Wednesday June 14, 2017, following a lengthy illness. Born in Valdosta, GA, on June 8, 1931 to the late R. V. Brown and Lillie Margaret Baucom Brown. She was a member of the Central Avenue Church of Christ and a 48 year retiree of the Lowndes County Board of Education.
Miss Brown is survived by her sister Frances Draper and a sister-in-law Catherine Brown both of Valdosta, also surviving are several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Floyd Draper, Ruth and Elwood Starling, Margaret Brown, Inez Lott, and a brother Julian Brown.
Funeral services for Miss Brown will be Monday, June 19, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home, with Mr. Byron Brown and Mr. Jerry DeLoach officiating.
