Stacy L. Harper, 53, of Valdosta, died on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at South Georgia Medical Center following a brief illness. She was born in Brooklyn, New York on August 18, 1958 to the late John and Agnes Duncan Lawler and has been a resident of this area for 40 years. She was a homemaker and attended the Clyattville United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Tom Harper of Valdosta; son and daughter-in-law, John Eric and Sheila Marie McCallum of Lake Park; daughter, Kelly Nicole Courson of Valdosta; granddaughters, Kelci, Camryn, Dayna, and Jaycee McCallum, Selah Courson; mother, Martha Jo Zipperer of Lake Park; a niece and her husband, Erica and Joey Simpson of Valdosta; great-nieces and nephew, Cate, Barrett (Bear), and Avery; step-sons, Richard Harper of Seattle, Washington, Andy Harper of South Carolina; a step-daughter, Stephanie Harper of Seattle, Washington; other family and friends.
A graveside memorial service for Stacy Harper will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at the Sunset Hill Cemetery with Rev. Bob Ellis officiating.
