Shirley Jean Preston

Shirley Jean Preston, 73, of Valdosta, Georgia, passed away Saturday, June 12, 2010, at Lake Haven Nursing Home. Born in Marian, Indiana she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Annabell Preston . She had made her home in Valdosta for the past three years where she was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.

Mrs. Preston is survived by three daughters and a son-in-law, Kara and Corey Clark of Valdosta, Tara Lynn Arrant of Cocoa, Florida, Tane Spaulding, Pataskala, Ohio, one son, Richard Michael Lee of Elkhart, Indiana. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Kristy Clark, and Cornelius Clark of Valdosta, Robin Lynn and Amanda Rae of Cocoa, Florida. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Lee.

Memorial services will be held at 12:10 p.m. on Friday, June 18, 2010 at St. John the Evangelist Church with The Reverend Dan O’Connell officiating. The family will receive friends after the service.
