Shirley Ann Plair, 60, of Hahira died Saturday, December 6, 2014 at her residence. She was born on January 7, 1954 in Hahira to the late Walter Eugene Plair and Effie Louise Pittman Plair. Shirley was a registered nurse. She was a Christian of the Baptist faith. Shirley adored her grandchildren. She brightened a room with her smile and positive attitude.
Shirley is survived by her daughter and son in law, Sabrina and Justin Baker of Valdosta, three grandchildren, Zackery Baker, Tori Baker and Tyler Baker, two sisters, Juaniece Faircloth of Cecil and Barbara Scott of Hahira, two brothers and one sister in law, J. C. Plair of Hahira and James and Marie Plair of Ray City, numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Pete Plair.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at eleven a. m. in the chapel of the Martin McLane Funeral Home in Hahira with Reverend Jim Schappaugh officiating. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery. The famiy will receive friends from six until eight p. m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed online at www.mclanecares.com.
