Sherolyn Carter Howell Ellenberg

Sherolyn Carter Howell Ellenberg 80, of Valdosta passed away Monday, September 04, 2017 at Presbyterian Home in Quitman following a lengthy illness. She was born on May 22, 1937 in Lake Park, Ga to the late Sidney Landon and Ruby Daugharty Carter. She was retired from the South Georgia Regional Library where she worked as an administrative assistant. She was a member of Central Avenue Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband, Ronald Ellenberg of Quitman, her children and their spouses, Beverly (Rod) Brown of Tifton, Teresa (Bobby) Bobbitt, Sid (Sandra) Howell, Sheila (Chris) Grubb, all of Kennesaw, a sister Alice Carter of Lake Park, 10 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 4 sisters-in-law, 3 brothers-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she is predeceased in death by her first husband William (Bill) Howell.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am, Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Carson McLane Funeral Home with Mr. John Klimko officiating interment will follow in Joe Howell cemetery in Lake Park.
