Sheila Elaine Wilkins Southall

Sheila Elaine Wilkins Southall, 75, of Hahira, died on Monday, December 9, 2024, at her residence. She was born on June 23, 1949, in Valdosta to the late Ewell and Maxine Lancaster Shiver. Sheila was a homemaker and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Cecil.

She is survived by her three children, Babette (Gary) Metts of Charleston, South Carolina, Amanda (Frank) Darling, and William “Chip” (Jami) Wilkins III all of Hahira; step-children, Jamie (Elaine) Southall, Jan (Jimmy) Letourneau; her grandchildren, Kristian (Danielle) Darling, Casey, Emily, Kate; step-grandchildren, Stephanie, Bubba, Justin, and Jessica; her siblings, John (Gail) Shiver, Janice (Gary) Oliver, Steve (Nancy) Shiver, Jamie (Gena) Shiver, Sandi (Timmy) King; sisters-in-law, Brenda Guest, Dorothy Wilkins, and Viola Shiver and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded by two husbands, William (Bill) Wilkins, Jr. and Leroy Southall; her brother, Jake Shiver; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Jean and Steve Williams, and two brothers-in-law, Willie Guest and Bobby Wilkins.

Services for Sheila Elaine Wilkins Southall will be held at 11am on Friday, December 13, 2024, in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Ike Jefferson and Rev. Jay Watkins officiating. The burial will follow in the Friendship Cemetery in Hahira. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Carson McLane Funeral Home.
