Sharon Harris Miller, 54, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Sunday, July 7, 2013.
She was born May 24, 1959 in Valdosta, a daughter of the late Seymore and Alice Wills Harris. Sharon graduated from Lowndes High School with the Class of 1978 and had worked at Crackin' Good Bakery, where she was known as "Blinkie" to her coworkers.
Sharon was a member of Christ Episcopal Church and had more recently attended St. Barnabas Episcopal Church.
A loving mother and sister, Sharon is survived by her daughter, Britainy Harris of Valdosta; one sister, Glynis Mangrum and husband Marvin of Macon; two brothers, Stewart Harris of Hahira, and Charles Harris and wife Sherry of Valdosta; and six nieces and nephews, John David Mangrum, Jason Onus Mangrum, Connor Harris, Lorrainne Wilson, Mallory Winters and Morgan Harris. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Miller.
The Memorial Service for Mrs. Miller will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, July 11, 2013, at Christ Episcopal Church, with The Rev. Joye Q. Cantrell officiating. Interment will follow in the church's urn garden. The family will receive friends following the service at the church's fellowship hall.
