Sharon Ann Morris Boykin, 84, of Hahira died Thursday, October 1, 2020 at home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Byron, Georgia on September 24, 1936 to the late Max and Lenora Sapp Morris and had lived in Hahira most of her life. Mrs. Boykin was a member of the Hahira First Freewill Baptist Church and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a homemaker and in her spare time enjoyed working at local flower shops.
Survivors include two daughters, Sheryl Williams, and Kristie Brown; two granddaughters, Sarah King (Will), Shelbie Brown; her brother and sister in law, Max B. and Lisa Morris; her sister and brother in law, Debra and Bill Brock all of Hahira; sisters in law and brothers in law, Lucy Couch of Macon, Nell Leveille of Hahira, Myrtice and Jay Morgan of Nashville, GA, Rev. Wayne and Cindy Boykin of Adel, Judy Boykin of Hahira; former son in law, Don Brown; numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Julian Boykin, a daughter, Sheila Williams, a son, Morris Boykin.
The family wishes to express their appreciation to the nurses and staff of Hospice of South Georgia for their care of Mrs. Boykin during her illness.
Graveside services will be held at 2pm, Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Friendship Cemetery with Rev. Wayne Boykin officiating. There will be no formal visitation.
