Shanna Marie Fesler

Shanna Marie Fesler, 20, of Valdosta, died on Thursday, May 24, 2007 at her residence. She was born in 1986 in Adel. Shanna came into this world with a very challenging life, but always seemed to enjoy her own quality of life. She was surrounded with love by her family and nurses. She was a strong fighter and very determined. She loved holidays, especially Christmas, going to the mall, Wild Adventures, riding the golf cart at her brother’s golf tournaments, and watching her sister dance in the Nutcracker and recitals.

She is survived by her parents, Richard and Marie Fesler of Valdosta; brother, Brent Fesler of Valdosta; sister, Kaylee Fesler of Valdosta; maternal grandfather, Ormond E. Rolfe of Dasher; paternal grandmother, Nadine Fesler of Valdosta; aunts and uncles, Becky and Billy Faircloth, Margaret and Benny Porter all of Lake Park, Steve and Kellie Fesler, Sandra and Gene Seago all of Valdosta; special cousin, Kristi Faircloth of Lake Park; cousins, Chase Faircloth, Amber Porter, Zach Porter all of Lake Park, Tillman Fesler of Valdosta, Caroline Eddings, Ponte Vedra, FL and her nurses, Denise Reynolds, Carol Stewart and Joe Steadman. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Dorothy E. Rolfe and paternal grandfather, Carl Fesler.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 26, 2007 at Dasher Cemetery with Reverend Michael P. Lyons officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
