Shane Bryant Kelly

Shane B. Kelly, 44, of Valdosta passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, March 12, 2014. He was born and raised in Lowndes County and attended Lowndes High School. Shane graduated in 1988. He had owned and operated Kelly Insurance Agency since 2012 and had been in the insurance business for the past ten years. Prior to that Shane spent twelve years as a paramedic where he received much recognition for his dedication to saving lives. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him and remembered for the way he always made people feel special, greeting them as "baby" or "bud". Shane was a Christian and of the Baptist faith.

He is suvived by his wife, Tracie Lehman Kelly, two daughters, Jennifer Kelly and Katherine Pierce, his father, Howard W. Kelly, his brother, Eric Franz, his sister, Sheary Kelly, aunt, Minnie Jean Kelly, cousins, Andy and Cheryl Kelly, Krystal and Kyle Kelly, Danny and Katinka Kelly, mother in law, Shirley Lehman, his brother in law and sister in law, Paul and Lisette Lehman and their children and countless close friends.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 16, 2014 at two p.m. in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Jay Watkins officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
