Sarah Steinberg Murrell

Sarah Steinberg Murrell, 67, of Fruit Cove, FL died Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, FL. She was born in Valdosta on February 20, 1949 to the late Robert F. and Maxine Connell Steinberg. Mrs. Murrell was a member of the Fruit Cove Baptist Church and a retired school bus driver for special needs children with the St. Johns County School System. Mrs. Murrell enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her family.
Survivors include her husband, Joe S. Murrell of Fruit Cove, FL; her children and their spouses, Richard and Abra Murrell of Fruit Cove, FL, Sherri and Ken Spaulding of Goochland, VA, Ace and Cindy Murrell of Fruit Cove, FL; her grandchildren, Christian Murrell, Rachael Spaulding, Sean Spaulding, Corbin Murrell, Emily Murrell, Locke Murrell; great grandchild, Paisley Murrell; her sister and brother in law, Roberta and Rudy Fields of Warner Robins, GA; her brother, Franklin Steinberg of Athens, GA; sister in law, Brenda Steinberg of Statesboro, GA. She was preceded in death by brother, Raymond Steinberg and a sister of Nancy Simmons.
Funeral services will be held at 9am, Saturday, May 7, 2016 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas Simmons officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Hill Cemetery.
