Sarah Jeanette Tucker

Sarah Jeanette Tucker passed away on Friday, January 13, 2017, in Statenville, GA,
Born in Homerville, GA on December 24, 1947 to the late Joseph Austin and Lonnie Smith Joyce. She is preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Jean Young and Geraldine Theriot.


Survivors include her son, Donald Ray Joyce of Statenville; daughter and son-in-law, Natasha and Dustin Dixon of Statenville; grandchildren, Andrea Corrao and Drew Corrao of Statenville; granddaughter and her husband, Laile and Jake Harper of Chapin, SC; granddaughter, Summer Rhae Joyce of Columbia, SC; great grandson, Bentley Harper of Chapin, SC; great granddaughter, Charlotte Harper of Chapin, SC; sisters and their husbands, Karen & Jimmy Corbitt, Sandra and Larry Giddens, all of Statenville; sister, Bernice Benoit of Statenville; a brother, James Austin Joyce of Houston, TX ; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A special thank you for the love and support from Halcyon Hospice, Lynn Raines, Beverly Holloway and Dr. Bruce Harrington and his staff.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at Statenville Baptist Church, officiated by Larry Giddens and Sharon Holder.
