Sanford Ronald Rovall

Sanford Ronald Rovall, 56, of Valdosta, died on Thursday, December 29, 2005, at his home. Born in Buffalo, New York, on July 21, 1949, he was the son of the late Jerome Benjamin Rovall and Martha Mildred Cohen Rovall Orenstein. Prior to 1970, Mr. Rovall had lived in Hartford, Connecticut. He was employed in Maintenance and Housekeeping at South Georgia Medical Center. A member of Temple Israel, Mr. Rovall loved to attend Synagogue.

Surviving are a sister and brother in law, Donna and William Black of Valdosta, nieces and nephews, Lisa and Michael Johnson, Brittney, Stephanie, and Payton Johnson of Valdosta, uncle and aunts, Irving and Bess Cohen of Merritt Island, Florida, Frances Kahn of Enfield, Connecticut, several cousins, other relatives and friends, Shirla and Larry Franz of Valdosta.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, January 2, 2006, at 2 p.m. at Sunset Hill Cemetery. Rabbi Moshe Elbaz will officiate. Carson McLane Funeral Home is serving the family of Mr. Rovall.
