Sandra Yvonne Coody Burris

Sandra Yvonne Coody Burris, 68, of Quitman, passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2020. Born in Valdosta on December 7, 1951, to the late Howard Coody and Mary Frances Moore Coody. She was a retired secretary and loan officer at Guardian Bank and was in the banking industry for over 30 years. She enjoyed spending time with her dogs, grandchildren, and doing arts and crafts. She liked watching golf, and her beloved Clemson Tigers.

Mrs. Burris is survived by her children Donna Burris, of WA, Robert (Tonya) Burris, of Sumnerville, SC, Patricia (Clint) Holmes, and Thomas (Teresa) Burris, both of Chesterfield, VA; her three grandchildren, Taylor Burris, of Chesterfield, VA, Lauren (Joseph) Henslee, of Simpsonville, SC, and Katherine Burris, of Summerville, SC; one great grandchild Layla Marie Henslee, of Simpsonville, SC; a niece Joyce (Stephen) Gregory, of Fort Myers, FL, and many aunts and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Albert Burris.
