Sandra Mccann Sims

Sandra McCann Sims, 77, of Valdosta died Monday, August 23, 2021 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born in Valdosta on February 27, 1944 to the late Clifford S. and Louise Sutton McCann. Sandra was an active member of Abundant Life Church of God and the owner and operator of Elite Beauty Shop. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, gardening and giving back to her community.
Survivors include her son and daughter in law, Joseph and Stephanie Sims; her grandchildren, Austin Sims and Hailee Taylor, Thomas and Lachae Sims, Josie Sims; her great grandson, Aiden Sims all of Valdosta; her brothers and sisters in law, Cecil McCann of Nashville, TN, Joel and Maureen McCann of Boston, MA, Jerry and Joy McCann of Valdosta, her sisters and brother in law, Joyce Coody of Valdosta, Sue Ellen and Roger Snow of Lawton, OK, Pam Dawson of Valdosta; sisters in law, Elaine McCann and Alice Sims both of Valdosta; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Terrell Sims, a sister, Maxine McCann and a brother, Charles McCann.
Funeral services will be held at 11am, Friday, August 27, 2021 at Abundant Life Church of God with Rev. Wayne Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in Ousley Cemetery.
