Sandra Croft Deverger

Sandra Croft Deverger, 62, passed away Thursday, August 12th, 2010, in Lakeland, Georgia. Ms. Deverger was born October 23rd, 1947 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and moved to Georgia in 1952. Sandra was the daughter of the late J.B. Croft of Berlin, Georgia and Mrs. Dean Rogers Croft Tillman of Adel, Georgia. She was also predeceased by a loving stepfather, Buck Tillman of Adel. Following her graduation from Cook High School, Sandra enrolled in the Crawford Long School of Nursing in Atlanta and later received her Dental Hygienist degree. Following a long career as a Dental Hygienist, she retired for health reasons.

Ms. Deverger is survived by her son, John-Russell Deverger of Darien, Georgia, a brother, Roger Croft and his wife Ann of Valdosta, nieces and nephews, Keith and Lisa Hodge, Mark Croft, Jennifer Croft, Jay and Lisa Wood, Bryan and Robin Wood and her special friends, Martha Gay, LaRita Brasher, and Doris Flowers.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, August 16, 2010, at the Chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Wesley Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery in Berlin, Georgia. Her dear friend Rev. Bob Willis will preside at the services. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
