Sandra C. Dukes

Sandra C. Dukes, 50, of Echols County died at Smith Northview Hospital, Saturday, August 18, 2007. Born on November 13, 1956 in Goshen, IN, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Sara Bush Carroll. She worked with Roses Department Stores as Assistant Manager in Gainesville before she moved to the South Georgia area. She was a member of Jennings Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Morris Dukes of Echols County; daughter and son in law, Lesia & David Rose of Grey; son, Michael Dukes of Quitman; seven grandchildren; brother, Randy Carroll of Thomasville, sisters and brothers in law, Lynne & Simeon Dixon, Cathy & Travis Williams of Thomasville.
She was preceded in death by a son, Robert James Robson.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, August 20, 2007 at McLane Lakewood Chapel with Elder Don Gilbert officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Quitman.
