Sammie K. Jamerson

Sammie K. Jamerson, 72 of Quitman died on Sunday, April 3, 2005 at the Presbyterian Home in Quitman where she received kind and expert care and for which her family is very grateful. Born on June 2, 1932 in Ben Hill County, she was the daughter of the late Samuel H. and Polly Tucker Kilcrease. She was a retired accountant and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors are a daughter and son-in-law, Leigh Jamerson and John Ingra of Quitman; a special friend, Cassie Hart White; four sisters, Gail Poole of Clyattville, Carolyn Harrell of Clyattville, Sue Harrell of Valdosta, Judy Castrinos of Hahira; a brother, Alvin Kilcrease of Dasher; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Kilcrease.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 7, 2005 at Riverview Memorial Gardens with Reverend Bruce McCracken.
