Sally Louise Parks

Sally Louise Parks, 73, of Cecil died Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at her home. She was born in 1933 in Seville, Florida to the late Mac and Lettie Goodin Connell and had lived in Cook County for many years. Mrs. Parks was a member of the Cecil Baptist Church. She loved children and gospel music.

Survivors include two daughters and a son in law, Robbie Nell Cook of Cecil, Brenda L. and Ricky Hudson of Albany, a good friend, Richard Wingard of Hahira, six grandchildren, Charlotte Renee Waters, Angela Waters, William Ellis Conger, Michael Boutwell, Aaron Parks and Wendy Cook, 8-great grandchildren, one brother, Billy Connell of Port Orange, Fla., one sister, Lois Dowling of Jacksonville, Fla., a sister in law, Irene Parks of Cecil and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ellis Victor Parks, one son, Daniel Mitchell Parks, three sisters, Mattie Bell Dowling, Ruby Johnson and Bonnie Dasher and one brother, Junior Connell.

Funeral services will be held at 3pm, Friday, April 27, 2007 at the Cecil Baptist Church with the Rev. Terry Colon officiating. Burial will follow in the Fellowship Cemetery.
