Sallie R. Federico

Sallie R. Federico, 69 of Valdosta passed away on October 9, 2004 at South Georgia Medical Center after a short illness. Born on November 28, 1934 in New Orleans, LA, she was the daughter of the late Mary Elizabeth and William Woolsey Resor.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Federico, with whom she celebrated 50 years of marriage on June 19, 2004; daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Harvey Katz of Corte Madera, CA, Deborah and Kenny McDonald of Valdosta; sons, Louis Federico of Hampton, VA, John Federico of Valdosta; grandchildren, Kylee and Amy Federico of Hampton, VA, Haley McDonald of Valdosta, Spencer and Aaron Katz of Corte Madera, CA; sisters, Bettye DeHennis of Eureka, CA, Ann Resor of Gonzales, LA; brothers, William Resor of Aurora, CO and Robert Resor of Spring, TX.

The Funeral Mass will be held at 12:10 p.m. on Tuesday, October 12, 2004 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Father John O’Brien officiating. Entombment will follow at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. Rosary and visitation will be held on Monday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the church.
