Ruth Philindia Ratcliffe

RUTH PHILINDIA RATCLIFFE, 75, of Valdosta died Monday, January 14, 2008 at the Berrien County Hospital. She was born on October 16, 1932 in Moberly, Missouri to the late John J. and Mabel Stewart Benjamin and had lived in this area most or her life. Mrs. Ratcliffe was a Pentecostal.

Survivors include her children and their spouses, Richard Daniel Hopson of Cecil, Rebecca Sue Bland of Land O’Lakes, Fla., Frankie and Keith Coleman of Nashville, Frank and Wanda Bohanan, Nina and Kenny Keen all of Valdosta, 18-grandchildren, 29-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Marie Benjamin and three brothers, James Benjamin, Johnny Benjamin and George Benjamin.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Thursday, January 17, 2008 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Cotterill officiating. Burial will follow in the Statenville Cemetery.
