Ruth Little Pitts

Ruth Little Pitts, 99, of Valdosta died Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at Fellowship Home. She was born on October 3, 1916 in Tift County, GA to the late Walter C. Little and Pearla Hurst Little. Mrs. Pitts was retired from C & S Bank, was a member of First Baptist Church, a Sunday School Teacher, a Pink Lady and a member of Wymodausis. She enjoyed playing golf.

Mrs. Pitts is survived by her daughter, Barbara Pitts Baudo of Kennesaw, GA, granddaughter, Nicole Shuey and grandson, Michael Shuey of Kennesaw, GA, two great grandsons, Blake Austen Shuey and Tyler Cole Shuey of Kennesaw, GA. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Cecil Monroe Pitts, three sisters, Voncile Green, Helen Southwell and Hazel Haman.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at eleven a. m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Reverend Mac Weaver and Dr. Chuck Owens officiating. Burial will follow at Omega Cemetery in Omega, GA. The family will receive friends from six until eight p. m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
