Ruth L. Harris

Ruth L. Harris, 81, of Clyattville, died Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born on July 4, 1927 in Batavia, Ohio to the late Charles Darrell and Mary Sparks Smith. Mrs. Harris was a homemaker and a member of Francis Lake Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters and sons in law, Pat and Russell Moeller and Brenda and Ron Williams of Lake Park, three grandchildren, Jason Moeller (Nicole), Lindsey Williams and Emily Williams, two great grandchildren, Emily Moeller and Flint Moeller, one sister, Dorothy Hodges of Brewton, AL, several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Harris was predeceased by her husband of fifty eight years, Paul Harris on July 22, 2004. She is also predeceased by two grandsons, Gant Williams and Brian Moeller and one granddaughter, Ashley Williams.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 29, 2008 at eleven a. m. in the chapel of the McLane Lakewood Funeral Home in Lake Park with Reverend Eldridge Lyons officiating. Burial will follow in Dasher Cemetery. The family will receive friends from six until eight p. m. Friday at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Francis Lake Baptist Church, 5111 Springwater Drive, Lake Park, GA 31636.
