Ruth Hall

Ruth Hall, 89, of Hahira, died Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta. She was born on December 11, 1919 in Lowndes County to the late Gordon Lee and Willie Ozella Cowart Coppage. Mrs. Hall was a retired nurses aide from Smith Hospital, was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Vero Beach, FL and she loved her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by two daughters and one son in law, Dean Turner of Hahira, Beverly and Carlton Boutwell of Byron, one brother and sister in law, Hoyt and Virginia Coppage of Hahira, eleven grandchildren and their spouses, Steve and Karen Hall, Gene and Trina Turner, Rusty and Ruth Turner, Victor Hall, Dale and Holly Turner, Sandy Fisk, Amy and Brian Tomlinson, Jeanne Boutwell, Stacy and Bobby Bell, Kristy and Stuart Collins, Paul and Amber Booher, twenty five great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Mrs. Hall is also preceded in death by her husband, O. K. Hall, one son, Willie Hall, one sister, Lucille Martin, four brothers, Johnnie Coppage, Roy Coppage, Slater Coppage and Ray Coppage.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 25, 2009 at three p. m. in the chapel of the Martin McLane Funeral Home in Hahira with Elder Thad Marshall officiating. Burial will follow in Cat Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from six until eight p. m. Friday at the funeral home.
