Ruth Ann Miley Edmondson

Ruth Ann Miley Edmondson, 66, of Hahira died Thursday, April 9, 2009 at the Brooks County Hospital. She was born in Brooks County on September 16, 1942 to the late Virgil Raymond, Sr. and Margaret Sutton Miley and had lived in this area for many years. Mrs. Edmondson was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse and a member of the Friendship Baptist Church in Barney.

Survivors include her husband, Bobby Edmondson, Sr. of Hahira, her sons and daughter in law, Bobby Ray, Jr. and Janet Edmondson of Blackshear, Gregory Lamar Edmondson of Barney, her daughter, Theresa Gordy of Dublin, her grandchildren, Allen Hunt, Joanne (Clint) Vaughns, Patrick (Jennifer) Willaford and Jacob Gordy, her brother and sister in law, Virgil Raymond (Sonny), Jr. and Linda Miley of Hahira, her sisters and brothers in law, Mary Ellen and John Chitwood, Nancy and Freddy Stalvey, Pam and Ken Akins all of Hahira. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Michelle Edmondson, a sister, Willene Whitehead and a brother, John Miley.

Memorial services will be held at 11am, Saturday, April 11, 2009 at the Friendship Baptist Church in Barney. Burial will follow in the Campground Cemetery.
