Ruth Ann (Hodge) Coester

Ruth Ann (Hodge) Coester, passed away at her residence, December 23, 2016, as she baked her annual Christmas treats for family and friends. She worked as a customer service supervisor for Bath Craft/Jacuzzi bath products for almost 30 years. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Valdosta, Georgia. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, mentor, and friend.
She is survived by her son, Rob Coester and his wife, Gabrielle (Harnage) Coester, her grandsons, Grayson and Zachary Coester; her father, Maj. Hobert (Verna) Hodge; sisters Joyce (Gerry) Lemke, Cindy Hodge (Emory Cater), Lynn (Ken) Eldridge; brother Arthur Hodge, and several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and Ohio family members. She is preceded in death by her mother, Catherine O. Hodge, and brother, Bradley Hodge.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Messiah Lutheran, 500 Baytree Road with Rev. Frank Kinast, Jr. officiating. Flowers may be sent to the church. Condolences may be expressed at www.mclanecares.com. Carson McLane Funeral Home
