Russell Lowell Tucker

Russell Lowell Tucker, 55, of Lake Park died Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at Select Care Specialty Hospital in Tallahassee. He was born on September 18, 1952 in Ocilla to the late Lowell Tucker and Alba Simpson Tucker and had lived in this area for many years. Mr. Tucker enjoyed fishing and riding motorcycles and was a former employee of Union Camp in Tifton.

Survivors include a son and daughter in law, Russell Matthew and Jessica Tucker of Ray City, two grandchildren, Lane Tucker and Caleb Tucker, sister and brother in law, Elaine and Elton Deberry of Ocilla, numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Anita Brown Tucker.

Graveside services will be held at 11am, Saturday, April 12, 2008 at the Benevolence Cemetery with Mr. Marvin Greene officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6-8pm at the McLane Lakewood Funeral Home in Lake Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to help with funeral expenses.
