Russell Franklin Bradford

Russell Franklin Bradford, 79, of Hahira, died Sunday, December 28, 2008 at Holly Hill Nursing Home in Valdosta. He was born on November 1, 1929 in Nashville, GA to the late Benjamin Owen and Vera Bell Mathis Bradford. Mr. Bradford was a butcher, a veteran of the United States Army and served during the Korean conflict.

He is survived by one daughter, Carol Rosenberg of Plano, TX, two grandchildren, Madison Rosenberg and Cathryn Rosenberg, three brothers, Donald Bradford of Hahira, Wilson Bradford of Adel, Larry Bradford of Valdosta and one sister, Lucille Dukes of Houston, TX.

Private family services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942 or to Southside Baptist Church, Rt. 1, Box 163, Lakeland, GA 31635.
