Ruby (Pat) Parrish, 89, of Hahira died on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at the Crestwood Nursing Home following a lengthy illness. She was born in Valdosta on July 9, 1922 to the late W.Y. "Bill" and Carlie Peterson Milligan and has been a resident here all of her life. She worked in the nursing profession as an L.P.N. and worked for Smith Hospital in Hahira and other healthcare agencies. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Tommy Hall of Hahira; two granddaughters, JoRinda Jennings of Warner Robins, Georgia and Misty and Ken Mullis of Byron, Georgia; three great-grandsons, Kyle, Kevin and Kolton Mullis all of Byron; a sister, Mary M. Corbett of Lake Park; a special niece, Genice Deas also of Lake Park; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Barney Bill Hall and Hubert Parrish and her infant son, Billy Hall.
A graveside service for Pat Parrish will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at the Lake Park Cemetery with Pastor Aubrey Bussell officiating.
