Louise Crump Taylor, 86, of Hahira, died Friday, July 23, 2010 at Memorial Convalescent Center in Adel. She was born in Lowndes County on November 14, 1923 to the late John Henry Crump and Beulah Mae Register Crump. Mrs. Taylor was retired from Smith Hospital after thirty seven years as Dietary Manager. She was a member of the Hahira First Baptist Church and the Eastern Star.
Mrs. Taylor is survived by one brother and two sisters in law, Johnny and Libby Crump of Columbus and Joyce Crump of Knoxville, TN, her nieces and nephews, Darryl and Wendy Hancock, John Calvin and Marsha Crump, Ronny and Patricia (Tat) Crump, Twyla and Rob McCree, Dale and Joy Crump, Terry and Karla Crump, Savannah Allison Hancock and Lidia Kay Franklin. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William Ira Taylor, her sister, Eva Mae Hancock and her brother, Felton Crump.
Funeral services for Mrs. Taylor will be held Monday, July 26, 2010 at ten a. m. in the chapel of the Martin McLane Funeral Home with Reverend David Gordon officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from four until six p. m. at the funeral home.
