Ruby H. Edmonds, 85, of Hahira died Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at the Langdale Hospice House. She was born in Guntersville, Alabama on June 17, 1924 to the late Houston and Birdie May Hartin Henry. Mrs. Edmonds had lived in Hahira for the past twenty years and was a member of the Hahira Church of God. She enjoyed arts and crafts and puzzles.
Survivors include her children and their spouses, Gerald and Marsha Edmonds of Mora, Ill., Gail and Ray Luke of Myrtle Beach, SC., Ann and Charles Hagood of Hahira, Randy Tate of Myrtle Beach, SC., seven grandchildren, Billy Hagood, Tonia Hagood, Randy Luke, Beth Good, Cheryl Dingeldein, Angie Edmonds and Randall Tate, six great grandchildren, Shelby Edmonds, Alena Dingeldein, Anna Dingeldein, Riley Edmonds, Marlie Luke and Shane Tate. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Trion Edmonds.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Friday, September 25, 2009 in the chapel of Martin/McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Leonard Harnage officiating. Burial will follow in the Friendship Cemetery.
