Roy William Lassetter, Jr.

Roy William Lassetter, Jr., 78, of Lake Park, died on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, following a sudden illness. He was born on June 14, 1944, in Charleston, South Carolina to the late Roy Sr., and Lelia Rose Lassetter. Mr. Lassetter was a veteran of the United States Army and had worked for the last 30 years for Rountree Construction. He loved being outdoors and enjoyed fishing and riding four-wheelers at the river and playing the lottery.

Mr. Lassetter is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Frank Johnson of Valdosta; two grandchildren, Matthew Hall and his fiance Tiffany Utley, and Taylor Pickett and her husband Michael Pickett; his great-grandchildren, Lilly Hall, Alanna Hall, Brantley Hall, Matthew Hall Jr., Calli Hall, Blakely Pickett, Landon Pickett, and Grayson Pickett; a great-great-granddaughter, Oaklynn Giddens.
