Roy Wayne (Poppy) Anderson

Roy Wayne (Poppy) Anderson, 55, of Lake Park died on Saturday, January 11, 2020 in Jacksonville, Florida. He was born in Jacksonville on November 28, 1964 and had lived in Lake Park for many years. Mr. Anderson was a truck driver for Three Brothers Trucking and enjoyed playing the guitar.
Survivors include his wife, Teresa Anderson of Lake Park; three stepchildren, Michael Jason Hammack, Carolyn Hammack, William Scott and Tonda Hammack; four grandchildren; a granddaughter, Kaeli Hammack whom he has raised since her birth; his parents, Roy L. and Mary Anderson of Lake Park; his sister, Karen and Steve Schmidt; parents in law, Carson and Elvie Avery; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11am, Friday, January 17, 2020 in the chapel of McLane Lakewood Funeral Home with burial to follow in Lake Park Cemetery.
