Roselle Bartlett Cribley, 88, of Valdosta died on Friday, October 14, 2016 at her residence. She was born on May 1, 1928 in Asheville, North Carolina to the late Morris and Viola Wheeler Bartlett. She worked in real estate in Orlando, Florida and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Lake Park United Methodist Church.
Survivors include five daughters and three sons-in-law, Elizabeth Stephanie Angel and James Van Liere of Stuart, Florida, Candice Ann Carnley of Tallahassee, Florida, Barbara Lynn and Steve Oliker of Manhatten Beach, California, Michelle Marie and Chuck Keir of Melrose, Florida, and Heidi Suzanne Carlman of Oxford, Florida; grandchildren, Jon Sandstrom and his wife Jennifer, Ryan Angel, Madeleine Kelley, John Kelley, William Kelley, and Kady Oliker; great-grandchildren, Chase and Cade Sandstrom; her sister, Mary Esther Spell of Land O Lakes, Florida and a brother, Marris Joseph Bartlett of Spring Hill, Florida; three nieces, Terri Matthews, Jessie and Moriah Bartlett, and a grand-nephew, Shawn Matthews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Lt. Col. Robert W. Cribley and a brother-in-law, Dr. Thomas Spell.
Services for Roselle Bartlett Cribley will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 21, 2016 at the Lake Park United Methodist Church. The burial will follow in the McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday evening at the McLane Lakewood Funeral Home in Lake Park. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her honor to the Lake Park United Methodist Church, 412 W. Cotton Ave. Lake Park, Georgia.
