Ronnie Stephens, 64, of Trenton, FL and formerly of Hahira, GA died Thursday, January 8, 2015 at Signature Health Care in Gainesville, FL. He was born on August 18, 1950 in Hahira to the late Fred Herbert Stephens and Lorene Blanche Hooker Stephens. Ronnie was a contractor. He loved Ronnie country music and enjoyed playing his harmonica.
Ronnie is survived by one daughter, Tammy Shealy of Gainesville, FL, one son, Travis Stephens (Melissa) of Gainesville, FL, three grandchildren, Anna Shealy (Dewey), Dylan Stephens and Matthew Stephens, three sisters, Barbara Childers (Olen) of Atlantic Beach, FL, Sybil Martin (Tony) of Hahira, Phyllis Hanner (Jimmy) of Quitman, one brother, Harold Stephens (Polly) of Alachua, FL, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Carroll Stephens and Earl Stephens and two sisters, LaVerne Griffith and Wanda Tabor.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 12, 2015 at three p. m. at the graveside at Friendship Cemetery. Burial will follow. The family will receive friends Monday at the Martin McLane Funeral Home beginning at one p. m. Condolences to the family may be expressed online at www.mclanecares.com.
