Ronnie L. Futch

Ronnie L. Futch, 55, of Valdosta died on Sunday, October 5, 2008 at South Georgia Medical Center following a brief illness. He was born in Lakeland, Georgia on February 19, 1953 and was the son of the late Leroy and Sylvia McCorvey Futch. Mr. Futch was associated with Publix grocery store for several years where he worked as a baker and he attended Morningside Baptist Church. He was a loyal Valdosta Wildcat and University of Georgia fan, and was also a great animal lover who had rescued many dogs in his lifetime. His two loyal dogs were Bebe and Biscuit. Mr. Futch was a United States Air Force Veteren.

Survivors include and aunt and uncle, Ethel and E.D. Johnson of Hahira and an uncle, Ralph McCorvey of Jacksonville, Florida and numerous cousins.

A graveside service for Ronnie L. Futch will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. at the Sunset Hill Cemetery with Rev. Mac Weaver officiating.
